Gallery Dotwalk is delighted to announce participation at the India Art Fair 2025. In this edition of IAF, the gallery plans to present the artworks of four represented artists: Abdulla PA, Amjum Rizve, Chandrashekar Koteshwar and Priyaranjan Purkait. Abdulla PA, a multi-disciplinary artist, will present his sculptural installations inspired by nature, through his ongoing engagement with found objects and ecological memorabilia. Following his recent solo exhibition, Amjum Rizve is contributing a new body of mixed-media paintings to this edition of the Fair. These works are deeply influenced by Sufi and Rumi philosophies, and are manifestations of his experimentation with various materials such as beads, threads and layers of paint. Chandrashekar Koteshwar would be presenting a series of small and medium-scale sculptures that resonate with the nuances of museumization, iconography, historical ruptures and the politics of visual culture appropriation. Koteshwar's works will form an installation of various sculptural objects, which is expected to inspire new perspectives on fragmented histories and symbols of the past within the present context. Priyaranjan Purkait’s large sized artworks which often shake the conscience of the viewers with its resemblance to the aesthetics of fabric, reflect his personal history and the memories of his neighborhood in Sundarbans. His works presented at IAF 2025 portray layers of fabric histories absorbed over time in the cultural and political consciousness of the region.
