Parag Sonarghare (b. 1987, Nagpur) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Baroda, India. He holds an M.V.A. in Art History and Aesthetics from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda (2010), and a B.F.A. in Painting from Government Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur (2008). His practice spans painting and performance, often exploring the body as both subject and medium.
Notable performances include Being the Other at KHOJ International Artists’ Association, Delhi, and AHAMBRAHMASMI, staged across Delhi, Nagpur, and Baroda. Sonarghare has exhibited widely in India and internationally, with group shows such as Rethinking the Regional (NGMA Mumbai), Indian Contemporary Art (Chicago), and Paradigms & Perspective (Singapore). He participated in Asia Contemporary Art Exhibition (Jeonbuk Museum, Korea) and The Young Subcontinent (Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa).
