Achia Anzi was born in Israel in 1979. Anzi did his MFA & BFA in Sculpture from the University of Rajasthan, in 2004- 2010 and Diploma and BA in Urdu Honors, from The National Council for Promotion of Urdu, in 2008. He also obtained an MA in

Anzi did his MFA & BFA in Sculpture from the University of Rajasthan, in 2004- 2010 and Diploma and BA in Urdu Honors, from The National Council for Promotion of Urdu, in 2008. He also obtained an MA in History of Art from the National Museum Institute, New Delhi in 2011 and has been living in India for the last 13 years. His translation of the short stories by Urdu author, Saadat Hassan Manto, was published in Hebrew by Hakibbutz Hameuchad Publishing House (2018). The artist is an associate professor at OP Jindal Global University, Sonipat and is director of the BFA program.
Achia Anzi is a multimedia artist who takes inspiration from books, objects, people and ideas. Whether through his installations, sculptures or video works, Anzi often attempts to portray not only his own feelings but also the crisis experienced by his home country, Israel.
