Prerna Sharma

During her college days she was interested in narrative art movements and was keen on portraying people and portraits with details of personal observations. 
For the last few years her focus is on self and social media spaces. She started taking her own personal photographs on different occasions which have been part of a new series of works. By exploring different mediums her new works have evolved incorporating her interest in ceramics sculptures. 

Since last 7 years she has been extensively working on different aspects of creative possibilities in ceramics. 
She has two solo exhibitions in her credit at Punjab University Museum and IndusInd Bank Chandigarh.
She has also been part of different group shows.

She worked as a lecturer in DAV College, Amritsar, and has an eight yearlong career of teaching art in one of the prestigious schools in New Delhi.

She lives and works in Greater Noida.

Prerna Sharma has done her Bachelors degree from Chandigarh College of Art and Masters in Painting from Jamia Millia University, New Delhi.

She has got formal training as a potter and ceramist from Blue Pottery Studios in Delhi. Since last 7 years she has been extensively working on different aspects of creative possibilities in ceramics.
