Meghna’s art practice explores mixed mediums including detailed ink drawings, handmade papers, textiles, found object assemblages, magnifying glass, tools used for examining and observing and fragile mediums that explore natural forms synergising and adapting to imagined environments. The study of creature behaviour and adaptation is inspired by mythological, historical and faerie elements. Along with these, she creates connections through epochs bygone and unfurling. Sentient beings and natural elements are constant witnesses to changes in our biodiversity and terrain. She believes in honouring them by drawing them in diverse environments with repetitive patterns, weaving them into transformative shifts and surreal portals.
