Hima Hariharan, hailing from Idukki, Kerala, seamlessly merges traditional finesse with satire. Completing her BFA at the Government College of Fine Arts in Thrissur and a PG Diploma in Computer Animation from Toonz Academy, Thiruvananthapuram, she is currently pursuing a master’s in Fine Arts at the Government Fine Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram. In 2023, her work became a cornerstone of the Mural Art Project at ‘Manaveeyam Veedhi’ Trivandrum, curated by Bose Krishnamachari for the Kerala government. Hima also contributed to the ‘Palette People’ Art Residency, a Kochi-Muziris Biennale collateral project in Vagamon, Kerala. Exhibiting in renowned spaces like Gallery Ekami and Gallery OED, her art was showcased in exhibitions like the IDAM group exhibition and ‘The Maps of Our Skin’, marking her a luminary in the contemporary Indian art scene.
