Sonali Sonam

Sonali Sonam is a contemporary visual artist from Bihar, India, with a distinctive focus on miniature art. Her artistic journey began at Kala Bhavan, Viswa Bharati, Santiniketan, and she later completed her Master’s degree at the College of Art, New Delhi. In 2020, she was awarded the Shristi Art Grant, a significant achievement that has played a pivotal role in her career development. Her work has been showcased at notable platforms such as "Citing Beauty" at Gallery Exhibit 320 in 2021 and the India Art Fair in 2022 and 2023, where she was featured in Exhibit 320. Sonali’s art explores the fusion of miniature techniques with the natural world, set against urban landscapes. She has a unique ability to transform everyday moments into captivating narratives, offering fresh perspectives through a blend of imagination and intricate detail. By incorporating elements of uncertainty into her meticulous work, Sonali encourages viewers to engage deeply with her art, inviting them to explore the familiar in extraordinary ways.
