Born in Jharkhand in 1988, Tahsin Akhtar worked as a lecturer in Academy of Animation and Gaming (AAG), Noida and DQ International Animation School, Noida during 2012-2014 and 2014-2016 respectively.Tahsin Akhtar works across media such as projection mapping, video, painting, photography, kinetic sculpture, animation and performance. He is currently practicing in Delhi. His practice deals with close and critical observation of mundane life and the phenomena of multiple perception, identities and human-machine relationship in this digital era. Tahsin adds an assorted value to his collected mundane objects, faceless heads and morphed figures while rendering an absurdity which emphasizes on the irrational, illogical and incongruous aspects of contemporary life.Tahsin Akhtar lives and works in New Delhi.
