The artist currently resides in Kerala and continues to practice art. “Her art delves into the psychological and emotional aspects of human existence, giving form to intangible feelings and experiences. Mehak aims to capture the essence of life, showcasing the closeness and detachment between human beings through visual connections and subdued colours. Her concern about the psychological behavior of human beings and the interplay between space and mind is progressive and has a lot of scope and possibilities that are yet to be explored. Her art seeks to awaken a sense of empathy and understanding towards the complexities of human existence
My approach to art is both captivating and profound. By delving into the psychological and emotional aspects of human existence, I am tapping into a fundamental aspect of being human that often goes beyond what is immediately observable in the material world. My intention to give form to intangible feelings and experiences opens up a unique avenue of artistic expression that allows viewers to connect with the deeper layers of their own emotions and experiences. The way I portray the closeness and detachment between humans through visual connections and subdued colors adds complexity and depth to my artwork. I am trying to master the art of creating a silent psychological atmosphere that speaks volumes through the emotional intensity it conveys. This balance of silence and emotional depth allows viewers to engage with the artwork in a way that goes beyond words, creating a profound and contemplative experience. The intentional arrangement of forms in my artwork demonstrates my ability to shape narratives and set specific moods, which can evoke a spectrum of emotions in viewers. This skillful manipulation of forms and spaces encourages the audience to reflect on their own lives and relationships, prompting a personal and introspective engagement with my art. The use of subdued tones of color is a powerful choice that further enhances the overall ambiance of my artwork. By evoking a sense of pause, interval, or emptiness in space, I create a contemplative mood that invites viewers to step back and reflect. The subdued colors are a channel to tranquility and introspection, allowing viewers to delve into the emotional landscapes I’ve created.
